Research
I aim to engage in research that supports the whole child and considers all learners. The acknowledgment that every learner enters the space as an individual who has a different history and trajectory from their classmates means that contextualizing my analysis is an important part of the value I will bring to the field of educational research. Within these considerations, I believe that I can contribute to the existing knowledge base by demonstrating the value (academically, socially, toward broader learning pathways) of hands-on, maker-centered learning that is driven by the students.
